Some Recent News about our Courses with Udemy

We recently published this  note inside of the Udemy system:

Dear students and past students,
we now have about six real-life cases to entertain you. They are all available for download in the rectangle that is connected to the Lecture 5.
We would like to congratulate Eric Manuel Torres for being the first student to accept the challenge, do the assignment that leads to the SPTIA certificate, and actually get it, so:
Congratulations, Eric!
Our past students can go back to the course at any time and get this certificate too. That is part of the lecture number six.
Eric said that he is happy with his and it was really exciting reading some of his lines.
See for yourselves:
"Professionals need to work within their competency: As much as one wishes to know everything that there is to know, this is humanly impossible".
"A static code might hinder progress within the profession".
"Each code has its own idiosyncrasies".
Thanks, Eric, you are making us all feel more empowered.
Please become each day more involved in all that has to do with the T & I Industry: We need people with your determination and will to contribute.

And we really meant it: It is simply fantastic having people like Eric in our industry. We never have enough of their opinions, contributions, and everything else.

That is how we build a strong professional class: It all starts with small gestures of kindness toward each other.

We put so much effort into building this course, and it is all exclusively for your enjoyment: Our profit is really minuscule and the price is also outrageous, but your gain and the gains for the industry are really priceless.

Please support our causes and invest in our industry by doing like Eric and accepting even the hardest challenges.

When we say Go, Eric we are obviously also saying Go, T & Is  and Go, T & I, is it not?

One heart, one power: All win!

Our Products

The SPTIA works with a series of products. One of them is  the online courses.

The Internet allows us to make a recording and leave it available to infinity for everyone, so that we only teach the point once but the world can benefit from our lecture for eternity.

In this mode of delivery, which some call flexible, the student can go through the classes at their own pace and come back to them any time they like.

There is no guarantee that the student will learn, but we also cannot guarantee that they will learn when we use the face-to-face mode. Of course we can use more validation points in the face-to-face mode, so that we can guarantee better that they will learn if we are delivering teaching in the traditional mode, but the good student will learn in both modes and what is lost because of not experiencing the interaction will be gained because of the necessity of using ultrapersonal criteria do assess and assimilate the material.

Studying was never this easy, safe, healthy or cheap: Whoever learns from online classes thinks that the system saves them from a lot of trouble.

First of all, all the communication happens in writing and therefore can be used to argue in favor of the student if necessary.

If it is unhealthy from one end, which will be the fact that the person has to use a computer, sit perhaps on uncomfortable chairs or stay in environments that are not prepared to receive students, it is healthiest from other ends, which are that there is no possible unaddressed unethical behavior and the student can study when they are able to concentrate to maximum degree on the material.

It is impossible to be orally bullied online, for instance. That would be the worst type of bullying, the one to cause more damage.

Your marks are not necessarily undeserved, since it all depends on your personal efforts and on the teacher's proposal. The SPTIA has all care that it can have in terms of standards, so that we add extra components whenever we can. Our course on ethics, for instance, has a challenge inside of it: The student only gets our certificate if they do the challenge. Otherwise, they get the Udemy certificate only.

Doing the extra component of the course proves that you really went through the material and includes you properly in the industry because the teacher can then really assess your understanding, learning, and performance. They can then give their best contribution to your professional life.

Having an SPTIA certificate means that you have been approved by a peer in the profession and you are believed to have at least an acceptable level of performance in whatever area the course covers.

You may get a friend and a reference provider because if the teacher really likes your assignment, they will offer something extra to you, so something beyond the certificate: It is all inside of their discretionary powers.

Udemy and our course on ethical codes (includes the current ethical codes for Australia, Brazil, and the USA):

Udemy and our course on translation (includes hints never seen before in any similar course):

At this very moment, we are deciding what to do with the certificate of the just-mentioned course, but you can get an SPTIA one. We will soon change the rules of this course and include a challenge in it as well, when getting an SPTIA certificate will then become a bit harder. We stopped investing in the marketing of this product because it is undergoing revision to this level, so that it is not the contents of the course in terms of what is taught that is being revised, but the assessment component. When we fix that part to our taste, we will advertise it again in a more massive manner.
